The Women’s Committee is dedicated to empowering and supporting women within The Sheet Metal Workers Union and the broader community. Our mission is to encourage women to join our union and to create opportunities for leadership development and growth.
We work collaboratively to plan events, advocate for issues impacting women, and ensure strong female representation in all areas of decision-making. Through outreach, education, and community engagement, the committee strives to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where women feel valued, respected, and inspired to lead.
Our mission: To equip the next generation of Sheet Metal Workers with a combination of skills and technology from the past, present, and tomorrow that assure a secure future for members and employers alike.
